You have reached the site that gives you information about Junior Olympic Club volleyball for girls in South Carolina. This site will help you answer some of the common questions about club volleyball such as:
What club teams are in the state?
What questions should I ask about club before signing up?
What should I expect when playing club volleyball?
Club Volleyball programs are played throughout the United States and are in age groups of 10 and under, 12 and under, 13 and under, 14 and under, 15 and under, 16 and under, 17 and under, and 18 and under. Most club teams are selected after try-outs. Depending on the number of kids trying out, some clubs may have 1, 2, 3 or even more teams in one age division. Most clubs run either boy's or girl's programs. Only a few offer both boy's and girl's programs. In South Carolina we are not aware of any boys programs at this time.
The Girl's Club Season runs November-July (following High School Season) with try-outs generally held in November. Most clubs may have one try out date with a make up and some clubs have more than one try out date.
Some clubs may suit you child's preferences better than others so make sure you ask questions prior to the start of the program. Many clubs have an information meetings for the players and parents that can be from a month to a couple of weeks before the try-out date. It is recommended that you and your parents attend one of these meetings if you are new to the club. Please visit the clubs section to learn more about clubs that we recommend and to view their sites.
